Vineyards

Our vineyards are located in southern Slovakia, on the borders of the villages Kamenica nad Hronom (HU: Garamkövesd) and Bajtava (HU: Bajta), on the south-western slopes of the Burda hills, where viticulture has a proven history of several hundred years.

The area is dominated by loessy brown forest soil with volcanic andesite underneath. The Burda hills, wedged between the Börzsöny and Pilis mountains, are surrounded by the rivers of Danube, Hron (HU: Garam) and Ipeľ (HU: Ipoly). It is these geological features that create a microclimate that makes the wines of the region so unique.

Our vineyards are surrounded by woodland and not adjacent to other vineyards.
