Blaufränkisch

First impression: another glass, please. A rustic Blaufränkisch as we understand it. Medium body, lively acidity, lots of red fruits, just a bit of barrel. Just as earthy as airy, more layers, but not too much of anything.

Processing: Half de-stemmed, half in whole bunches fermented for 11 days without ramming. Aged for 13 months in 300 liter Hungarian oak barrels (secondary fill) on sediment. A bit of sulphur added just before bottling.
